HR Generalist in Manufacturing/Plant Operations – Bhuj
Job Title: HR Generalist at Plant Operations
Location: Bhuj, Gujarat, India
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: Director – Human Resources (Corporate Office)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to manage and support end-to-end HR operations at our manufacturing site in Bhuj. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working at plant locations and a strong understanding of HR processes in a manufacturing environment, including employee onboarding, recruitment coordination, employee engagement, grievance handling, and compliance with HR policies. Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry will be preferred.
Requirement: -
▪ Bachelor’s Degree with MBA/PGDM in Human Resources.
â–Ş Over 5+ years of HR experience in manufacturing/plant environments.
â–Ş Prior exposure to chemical manufacturing industry operations.
â–Ş Strong knowledge of recruitment coordination, induction processes, joining formalities, and employee engagement.
â–Ş Good understanding of employee relations and grievance handling.
â–Ş Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
Key Responsivity: -
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Plan manpower requirements in coordination with department heads to support plant operations.
Manage end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, coordination, and maintaining candidate data.
2. Induction, Joining & Onboarding
Handle joining formalities, documentation, and employee record creation efficiently.
Ensure smooth onboarding through structured HR and departmental induction programs.
3. Employee Engagement
Design and execute engagement activities such as events, recognition programs, and initiatives.
Promote a positive work culture and strong employee relations at the plant level.
4. Grievance Handling & Employee Relations
Act as the primary contact for employee concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Maintain healthy industrial relations and support conflict resolution and discipline.
5. HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure proper documentation of all employee files.
Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and support audits and reporting.
6. Coordination with Corporate HR
Collaborate with corporate HR teams for policy implementation and HR initiatives.
Provide regular updates on manpower, attrition, and employee engagement activities.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Experience working at remote plant/site locations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and employee management skills.
